We just experienced another lovely family wedding this past June weekend, celebrating our nephew's marriage to his lovely bride. Weddings are such a beautiful display of love and unity. The union of two people in the first throws of love is a wonderful thing to witness. And we are always honored to take a small part in the wedding ceremonies with our unique glass wedding cake tops. Our nephew and his bride requested the sea turtle cake top below to match their wedding colors, and also  to symbolize their union.

June Bride

What is it about June that is so appealing to a bride, including yours truly? I'm thinking it might have to do with the weather patterns of our western continent. The unpredictable Spring storms are subsiding, and many a flower is in full bloom. There is usually an abundance of sunshine for those who want to take their nuptials outside. And love seems to permeate the air.

I happen to have two big wedding events coming up in the next couple of weeks. First, my sweetheart and I will revisit our honeymoon of 30 years ago, as we renew our commitment to each other in the glorious backdrop of the Teton Range.

A few days later we will get to witness our family's 3rd wedding, as our youngest son and his beautiful bride tie the knot in a beautiful outdoor setting alongside the scenic Snake River. Romance is indeed in the air.

Which brings me to the subject of this blog, and that is the perfect addition to any bride's wedding. Or shall we say "The icing on the cake"? Actually, in our line of work, the cake topper.
